DARLINGTON - Richard Warren Plenkers, Jr., 31, Mineral Point, was arrested on Wisconsin 23 at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, on a charge of driving with a license revoked due to an DWI conviction. Plenkers was also cited for violating his license restrictions.

MONROE - On Thursday, July 11:
Police responded to a 5:13 a.m. 911 call originating from the area of Wis. 69 and 6th Street, but did not locate the caller or any problem.
A box of ammunition purchased at Farm & Fleet was reported lost at 3:29 p.m. in the area of 8th Street and 3rd Avenue.
A 14-year-old Monroe boy was cited for possession of tobacco products in Recreation Park at 3:50 p.m. and released to a parent.
A restraining order violation was reported at 8:57 p.m. in the 2000 block of 16th Street. A woman allegedly texted her ex-husband to complain about his current wife writing stuff about her on Facebook. The matter was referred to the District Attorney for review.
A caller at 9:30 p.m. complained he was being yelled at by a group of people in the Swiss A.L.P.S. Cheeseland playground in Recreation Park. Police responded and told everyone to get out.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Christopher F. Greene, 29, Galena, was arrested on a third-offense charge of driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle collision in Albany Township at 6:35 p.m. Friday, July 12. Greene was eastbound on County E, negotiating a curve at the intersection with Peckham Road, when he crossed the centerline and struck the driver side of a car driven by Ann M. Schaefer, 25, Albany. Schaefer was injured but declined treatment. Her infant passenger was in a child safety seat in the backseat and was not injured. Her vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Greene was uninjured, and his vehicle sustained moderate damage. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license, operating left of center and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was jailed pending bond or court. The incident remains under investigation.
Bradley D. Pernot, 35, Janesville, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies investigated a report of domestic abuse that occurred at a residence on Trow Road in Brooklyn Township at 7:59 p.m. Saturday, July 13. Pernot posted bond and was released pending court.
Lucas A. Strohacker, 23, Davis, was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on County K near Union Road in Spring Grove Township at 2:59 p.m. Saturday, July 13. The driver, Strohacker, provided his brother's name and an incorrect date of birth to a deputy. He was booked into jail, then posted the required cash bond and was released. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance, driving without a valid license, failure to maintain a restraining device (deployed airbags), having a cracked or damaged windshield and defective tail lamp and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
One or more citations are pending from a two-vehicle accident reported at 11:32 a.m. Thursday, July 11, in New Glarus Township. No injuries were reported from the accident. Todd A. Duerst, 54, New Glarus, was driving a truck southbound on Argue Road, pulling a trailer loaded with cattle. He stopped at the intersection with Kubly Road, then pulled forward into the intersection and into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Evan P. Riniker, 19, New Glarus. The vehicles collided. Riniker's vehicle was moderately damaged and towed. Duerst's truck sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Limited visibility at the intersection was a contributing factor in the crash.
Crystal M. Richards, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license (third offense) and without vehicle insurance after she was stopped for speeding in the N4800 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe Township at 1:12 a.m. Saturday, July 13.

Timothy L. Demmer, 29, Platteville, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 2:51 p.m., following contact with him in his vehicle on County E in Shullsburg Township. He was later released to a responsible person pending court.
Austin D. Hart, 21, Cuba City, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance, following a two-vehicle accident without injuries at 2:25 p.m. in Benton. Hart was eastbound on Main Street when a second driver, Lisa J. Lavacek, 28, Benton, pulled away from a stop sign at Bean Street and hit him. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
A bite from a stray cat on County N in Argyle Township was reported at 8:32 p.m. The report was forwarded to the Lafayette County Health Department for follow-up.
Several children's scooters and a bicycle were reported stolen at 8:42 p.m. from a residential yard on South Judgement Street in Shullsburg.
A restraining order violation was reported at 9:21 p.m. on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Township.
