Monroe Police

MONROE - Marcus G. Venden, 28, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct and two counts of battery as the result of a domestic dispute around 11 p.m. in the 600 block of 17th Ave. Venden was jailed pending a court appearance.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Ernesto Montano, 20, and a 14-year-old passenger were cited for seatbelt violations around 6 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Seymour township. Montano was also cited for driving too fast for conditions.

• A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint around 3:45 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Benton.

• Deputies reported a complaint of criminal damage around 4:30 p.m. on South Main Street in Blanchardville. A vehicle at the residence had a windshield broken.

• Samantha H. Beranek, 18, Argyle, was arrested for obstructing an officer after deputies responded to a complaint of criminal damage to property and possible bail jumping. Beranek was also cited for underage alcohol consumption. Beranek was later released.
