MONROE - On Monday, Jan. 6:
Police took a report at 5:58 p.m. of theft of prescription medication from a residence in the 2700 block of 8 1/2 Street. No signs of forced entry were found.
Clayton A. Johnson, 28, Monroe, was taken into custody at 11:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of 16th Street on an arrest warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay child support after Johnson called police to turn himself in. Johnson was confined in Green County Jail.

DARLINGTON - Valentin Martinez Perez, 24, Darlington, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license (third offense) following a traffic stop on Ohio Street.
On Saturday, Jan. 4:
Bryan "Cody" Bredeson, 23, Darlington, was arrested for OWI at 2:26 a.m. after a traffic stop on Wis. 81. Bredeson was also cited for operating left of center and unreasonable and imprudent speeds. The matter has been referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney's Office because Bredeson was found to be in possession of a loaded, uncased rifle at the time of the stop.
Mark L. Dewitt, 39, Darlington, was cited at 7:55 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle after suspension (second offense) following a traffic stop on Wis. 23.

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Jan. 6:
A deputy responded at 9:45 a.m. to South Main Street in Blanchardville to assist a motorist with a vehicle unlock.
The Darlington Police Department assisted the sheriff's department by responding to County F in Darlington Township for a disabled vehicle in the roadway. The officer provided traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the roadway.
