BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - Benjamin R. Normington, 27, Brodhead, was arrested for possessing open intoxicants, possessing drug paraphernalia, and possessing Schedule 2 narcotics at 4:29 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29 in the 300 block of E. 9th Ave. He was transported to the Green County Jail.

• Leon E. Bridges, 24, Brooklyn, was arrested for possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 in the 1500 block 1st Center Ave.

• Timothy J. Huffman, 25, Brodhead, was arrested for battery, two counts of disorderly conduct, and obstructing an officer on Wednesday, Jan. 1 stemming from an incident on Sunday, Dec. 29.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - Police responded to the 600 block of 1st Street at 3:35 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30 for a report of a residential burglary.

• Police assisted the Monticello Police Department with a gas drive-off complaint at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30.

• Police were dispatched at 6:28 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 to the 400 block of 3rd Avenue for a person locked out of their residence. New Glarus Fire Department was requested to assist.

• Police assisted the Town of Madison Police Department at 1:51 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 with an investigation. The police assisted in interviewing a subject who was currently in New Glarus.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday, Jan. 3:

• A deputy responded to a theft of a cell phone complaint at 11 a.m. on County Shop Road in Darlington Township.

• Yellowstone Park Rangers assisted the Sheriff's Department at 2:55 p.m. with responding to an injured deer on English Hollow Road in Fayette Township.

• At 6:10 p.m., a deputy assisted the Platteville Police Department with attempting to locate a subject on County X in Elk Grove Township.

• A deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 6:48 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Wayne Township.

• The Shullsburg Police Department assisted the sheriff's department at 7:03 p.m. with responding to a traffic complaint of a vehicle parked on the roadway on County W in White Oak Springs Township. The vehicle was not located.

• A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at 10:39 p.m. on County B in Wayne Township.

• A deputy responded to a report of an unwanted subject at a residence at 11 p.m. on Main Street in the Village of Gratiot.

On Saturday, Jan. 4:

• Alejandro Lopez Trujillo, 25, address unknown, was cited for driving with no valid driver's license at 3:41 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• A deputy assisted a motorist by providing a ride to a residence on Sheldon Street in Gratiot at 11:31 p.m.
