MONROE - On Tuesday, Dec. 31:
Police received a report at 8:27 a.m. that a bracelet was lost in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue.
Chad M. Ernzen, 36, Durango, Iowa, was arrested 3:53 p.m. on a warrant issued through the state of Iowa after police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of 17th Avenue. Ernzen was also cited for not having a valid driver's license.
On Wednesday, Jan. 1:
Shawn M. Hopkins, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue for disorderly conduct under the domestic abuse law and for a probation and parole violation for drinking against probation rules after police responded to a domestic incident involving threats made against a roommate. Hopkins was jailed.
Lindsey K. Geiger, 27, Monroe, was cited for first-offense OWI and for failure to stop at a stop sign after police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 17th Street and 14th Avenue, where Geiger's vehicle had nearly collided with a police car when leaving a parking space and then ran a stop sign. Geiger was released pending court.
Christina R. Gonzalez, 37, Monroe, and Abraham Lopez Artero, 29, Monroe were arrested and charged at 4:50 a.m. for disorderly conduct and battery under the domestic abuse law after police responded to a 911 hang-up in the 2000 block of Ridgeway Road. Investigation revealed a domestic incident between the residents had occurred. Artero was also charged with a second count of disorderly conduct under the domestic abuse law. Gonzalez was released after posting cash bail pending court. Artero was jailed pending court.
Police recovered a stolen clothes iron taken two weeks ago from a motel after conducting a traffic stop at 3:18 p.m. in the 500 block of 6th Street. The incident remains under investigation. A suspect has been identified but not yet charged.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, Jan. 1:
Cindy K. Freeman, 55, Warren, was cited at 12:34 a.m. for non-registration of a vehicle following a traffic stop on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.
Riley J. Sigg, 22, Hollandale, was cited for operating after suspension following a traffic stop on Wis. 78 in Blanchard Township.
Jennifer L. Jerrett, 38, Livingston, was uninjured after her vehicle entered the ditch at Ipswitch Road in Elk Grove Township reported at 5:08 a.m.
A deputy responded at 7:25 a.m. along with the Argyle Fire Department to North Street in the Village of Argyle for a chimney fire.
A deputy responded at 9:09 a.m. to Wis. 11 in Green County to assist the Green County Sheriff's Department.
A deputy responded at 10:16 a.m. to Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township to provide traffic control for a disabled vehicle.
A deputy responded at 1:08 p.m. to West Wood Street in Shullsburg to keep the peace during a civil dispute.
