Albany Police

ALBANY - A juvenile delinquency petition was sent to Green County Juvenile Intake in reference to two 15-year-old males who were caught Friday, Jan. 18, smoking marijuana at Albany Middle School.

• A 17-year-old male was referred to the Green County District Attorney for charges of bail jumping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana after he was caught with marijuana Friday, Jan. 18, at Albany High School.

• A 15-year-old male was referred to Rock County Juvenile Intake on charges of disorderly conduct and battery after a domestic disturbance with his sister and brother Sunday, Jan. 27.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Jeffrey R. Blum, 48, Monroe, was arrested on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and violating his probation conditions after police were called at 8:52 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, to a disturbance between a man and a woman at a residence in the 1900 block of 7th Avenue. While talking with Blum about the domestic disturbance, an officer noticed a pot pipe nearby. Blum denied it was his and joked that it belonged to the dog. The woman told police it was Blum's pipe. Blum was jailed.

• Tyler L. Blumer, 19, Monroe, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense), disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:34 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, in the 1500 block of 28th Avenue. He was released pending court.

• Bradley A. Hopwood, 29, and Hattie M. Slovek, 25, both of Madison, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after police responded to a call for an ambulance at AmericInn, 424 4th Ave. Both had been drinking. Slovek allegedly injured Hopwood in a struggle. They posted bond and were released pending court.

• Police were called at 5:33 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, to the Intensive Care Unit at Monroe Clinic, 515 22nd Ave., for a report of two sisters arguing and causing a disturbance. One sister left. No arrests were made.

• A woman called police at 2 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, when her roommate wouldn't let her in their shared apartment in the 900 block of 11th Street.

• An upstairs tenant in the 1300 block of 16th Street called police at 5:01 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, to complain about a downstairs neighbor slamming a door. The downstairs neighbor told police the latch on the door was malfunctioning so it was necessary to slam it in order to shut it and the landlord was aware of the problem.

• Police were called to a report of harassment in the 1500 block of 14th Avenue at 2:13 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. It was a dispute between neighbors over money. Police told them to be civil and, if necessary, take their concerns to small claims court.

• Police investigated a dog-barking complaint in the 1600 block of 14th Street at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. The dog was located, but the owner wasn't home.

• A property owner in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue was left a warning notice at 10:54 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, to clean up a vehicle without license plates parked in the yard with its tires sunk into the grass.

• A property owner in the 200 block of West 21st Street was left a warning notice at 1:22 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, to clean up a vehicle with expired license plates and flat tires parked at the residence.

• Police responded to a complaint of loud music at 9:28 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at an apartment building in the 2200 block of 1st Street. The resident was warned to turn it down and complied.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Kiel Siegenthaler, 29, Brookfield, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, after police stopped her for an equipment violation on 11th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Amber N. White, 27, Beloit, was cited for an expired vehicle registration at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, on Wisconsin 69 at 14th Avenue.

• Michael J. Johnsrud, 19, South Wayne, and Shannon K. Nafzger, 30, Juda, were cited at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, for defective registration plate lamps by failing to comply with repair orders.

• Joni L. Keehn, 33, Blanchardville, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 5:54 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, after police stopped her for an equipment violation in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• Thefts were reported at area businesses at 10:01 a.m. and 1:26 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. The cases remain under investigation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Heather L. Detra, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after a deputy stopped her at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, for failing to stop at a stop sign on 6th Street at 20th Avenue in Monroe. She was also cited for the stop sign violation and for having open intoxicants in the vehicle. A passenger, Karie M. Werren, 28, Monroe, was cited for having open intoxicants in the vehicle. Both were released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Curt D. Humphrey, 42, Mineral Point, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, non-registration of an auto and displaying unauthorized license plates at 11:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested on a charge of underage drinking following a traffic stop on County F in the Town of Fayette at 1:56 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. The juvenile was released to a parent.

• Ian E. McGregor, 24, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 11:26 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington.

• Colten W. Kinnison, 19, Mazomanie, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 12:31 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Cory E. Thorton, 22, Brodhead, was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license at 12:32 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Robert J. Rodamaker, 41, Spring Green, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 1:06 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• James P. Johnson, 50, Round Lake Beach, Ill., was cited for speeding at 11:03 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

• Martin E. Hahesy, 37, Ely, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:07 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Rashadeem M. Gray, 18, Whitefish Bay, was cited for speeding at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• A deputy took a report at 5:46 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, of a disorderly conduct incident that occurred on Main Street in Benton two days earlier.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute on North Broad Street in Argyle at 5:57 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute on Wildcat Road in the Town of Darlington at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.
