NEW GLARUS - On Jan. 14:

• A wallet found in the 500 block of 1st Street was turned in to the police department at 4:20 p.m.

• Police assisted with a vehicle unlock at 4:58 p.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

• Micahel A. Disch, 55, Monticello, was cited for disorderly conduct after a suspicious person was reported at 5 p.m. in the area of 3rd Avenue and Elm Drive.

• A vehicle was reportedly damaged at 9:14 p.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. The matter is under investigation.

On Jan. 15:

• An animal problem was reported at 9:18 a.m. for a dog at large in the 300 block of 10th Avenue.

• Police responded at 10:59 a.m. to a residence in the 500 block of 14th Avenue to check the welfare of several children.

• Max F. Franklin, 58, Friedly, Minnesota, was cited for speeding at 1:31 p.m. in the 1000 block of Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 4:18 p.m. on Wis. 39 at County J with a reported crash. The crash was investigated by the sheriff's department.

On Jan. 16:

• Two parking citations were issued at 1:20 a.m. for violation of the winter alternate side parking ordinance.

• Parking issues were reported at 9:01 a.m. from the streets department in reference to vehicles in violation of the 24-hour parking ordinance.

• A 14-year-old was cited for truancy at 2:14 p.m.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff with checking a residence in the village for a juvenile runaway at 8:05 p.m.

On Jan. 17:

• A missing money clip was reported lost in the village of New Glarus at 10;30 a.m.

• Police assisted a petitioner with serving paperwork at 5:33 p.m. to a respondent in New Glarus.

• A dog running at large was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 500 block of 8th Street. The dog was returned to its owner.

On Jan. 18:

• A juvenile making self-harm statements was reported at 9:35 a.m. in the 1600 block of 2nd Street. Green County Human Services also responded, a safety plan was put in place and the juvenile was turned over to a parent.

• Fletcher J. Dahl, 30, Prairie Du Sac, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended and for no vehicle insurance at 10:43 a.m. on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.

• Police assisted Green County Sheriff with a traffic hazard on the road at 6:27 p.m. on Wis. 69 near Valley View Road.

• David B. Waage, 64, New Glarus, was cited at 7:40 p.m. for disorderly conduct after police investigated threatening phone calls.

On Jan. 19:

• Nashaly Lopez Irizarry, 19, Madison, was cited for operating with no valid driver's license at 12:29 a.m. on Wis. 69 at County W.

• Richard R. Parsons, 40, New Glarus, was arrested as a result of an ongoing sexual assault investigation at 2:37 p.m. Parsons was transported and booked into the Green County Jail on a charge of disorderly conduct and on a charge of sexual assault of a child. Parsons will remain in custody until his appearance in Green County court.

On Jan. 20:

• One parking citation was issued for an alternate side parking violation.

• Police assisted Green County Sheriff with an injury crash at 2:37 p.m. on Wis. 39 at Marty Road.

• A civil issue was reported at 1:37 p.m. to the 1100 block of 2nd Street. A tenant requested assistance with removing an unwanted roommate. Contact was made and after talking with all parties the couple decided to pack up and move their items.

• A dog running at large was reported at 2:41 p.m. on Hillside Circle. The dog was not located.

On Jan. 21:

• Stephen Straus, 61, New Glarus, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle at 8:42 p.m. on 1st Street at 11th Avenue.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Jan. 19:

• Deputies responded to the Belleville Police Department at 1:39 p.m. for a drone that was found County D in Green County and turned in to Belleville Police. The drone was secured and can be identified at the sheriff's office.

On Jan. 20:

• Kaleb J. Sobacki, 18, Monroe, was arrested and cited at 12:33 a.m. in the N3600 block of Klondike Road in the Town of Jordan for trespass to land without owner's consent, possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia; John D. Schlough, 18 Brodhead, for trespass to land without owner's consent, possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Kalee A. Schaefer, 17 Monroe, for trespass to land without owner's consent, possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana, and possession of tobacco products. Each subject was released to a responsible party with a court date.

On Jan. 21:

• Richard W. Jarosz, 48, Monroe, was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol (2nd offense) at 2:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East Old Highway Road, Browntown in the Town of Cadiz. Jarosz was released pending court.

• Cheryl M. Bowers, 42, Belleville, was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping at 5:57 p.m. in the W2600 block of Story Creek Circle in the Town of Exeter. Bowers was booked into jail pending court or cash bond.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Jan. 19:

• A traffic complaint was reported at 10:57 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 11:06 a.m. to Heller Court in Shullsburg for a welfare check.

• A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 1:32 p.m. on Knee Deep Road in Benton Township.

• A civil dispute was reported at 4:14 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

• Heather M.E. Edwards, 31, Darlington, was cited for no proof of insurance at 5:24 p.m. on County Shop Road, Darlington Township.

• Heather R. Fonseca, 41, Warren, was cited for speeding at 6:48 p.m. on County KK, Gratiot Township.
