MONROE - On Tuesday, Jan. 15:
Police were called to Monroe Middle School at 10:35 a.m. for a report of an out-of-control 13-year-old student causing a disturbance. The boy was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and intimidation to a victim. He reportedly threatened another student and damaged computer equipment, a fan and a pencil sharpener. After police took him into custody, he banged his head and spit. He was eventually released to a relative, and police referred the case to Green County Human Services and juvenile intake.
Fritz L. Wenger, 52, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign following a two-vehicle collision at 4:59 p.m. in the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and County DR. Wenger hit a vehicle driven by Gabrielle R. Seward, 19, Cuba City. There was minor damage to the vehicles and no injuries reported.
A GPS unit and iPass transponder were reported stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1000 block of 2nd Street North at 1:01 p.m.
The manager of the Monroe Municipal Airport reported seeing snowmobile tracks on the airport grounds at 1:36 p.m. It is a violation of FAA rules to operate snowmobiles within airport boundaries.
A wallet containing cash, IDs and gift cards was reported stolen out of a locked vehicle in the 300 block of North 12th Avenue at 6:49 p.m.

MONROE - Elizabeth K. Rhodes, 32, Orangeville, Ill., was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to report a crash to law enforcement following an investigation of a crash that occurred very early Sunday, Jan. 13. Deputies located the single-vehicle crash at about 2:50 a.m. on Rufer Road east of North Klondike Road in the Town of Adams. The vehicle had veered into the ditch and hit several trees. The occupants had left the scene. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Rhodes was later identified as the driver. She and her passenger, Joshua D. Rhodes, 34, also of Orangeville, were uninjured.
Dakota J. Niemeier, 20, Janesville, was cited for theft, display of an unauthorized license plate and driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance after deputies responded at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, to a report of fuel theft on Witt Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant.
Matthew L. Holmes, 32, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 2:46 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, on Benkert Road at Wis. 69 in the Town of Monroe.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Jan. 15:
Jeremy L. Hefty, 30, Benton, was taken into custody at 7:31 p.m. on County W in the Town of Benton on a valid child support warrant issued by Iowa County. He was transported to the Lafayette/Iowa County line and turned over to an Iowa County deputy.
Kelmend Isaj, 20, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 7:28 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot.
Katlyn L. Weaver, 21, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 12:34 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Elk Grove.
