Monroe Police

MONROE - On Monday, Jan. 13:

• Constance J. Driver, 56, Monroe, was cited at 8:18 a.m. for failure to clean and maintain safe sidewalks based on complaints about unshoveled walkways at a residence in the 2000 block of 9th Street. A court date was set, and the property was referred to the Street Department for further action.

• Josse F. Allen, 33, Preston, Idaho, was cited at 10:12 a.m. for failure to clean or maintain safe sidewalks based on complaints about unshoveled walkways at a residence in the 1600 block of 17th Street. A court date was set, and the property was referred to the Street Department for further action.

• Police were called to Monroe High School at 10:27 a.m. to investigate a report that a student allegedly punched another student. A 16-year-old Monroe male was referred to juvenile authorities for disorderly conduct.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Thomas C. Smith, 62, Monroe, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 at a residence in Monroe on a Green County warrant for a second-offense OWI and a warrant from the Monroe Police Department for operating with a revoked driver's license. Smith was jailed pending court.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Rodrigo Perez-Ramirez, 50, Darlington, was arrested at 9:31 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 for an OWI-related offense and for operating a motor vehicle after revocation. Perez-Ramirez was released pending court.

• Kevin Joel Garcia-Morazan, 19, Freeport, was cited at 10:32 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 for operating a vehicle without a license or insurance following a traffic stop on Galena Street in Darlington. Garcia-Morazan posted the citations at the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office and was released.

• Paige Gilman, 19, Monroe, was cited at 11:35 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13 for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license following a traffic stop on Clay Street.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Jan. 13:

• A deputy responded at 12:13 a.m. to an alarm at a location on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 4:10 a.m. to County F in Willow Springs Township for a complaint of livestock in the roadway.

• A deputy responded to a residence at 8:57 a.m. to a residence on West Center Street in South Wayne for a welfare check.

• A deputy assisted the Argyle Police Department at 10:15 a.m. on a keep the peace detail while personal property was removed from a residence on Lafayette Street in Argyle.

• A deputy responded at 2:20 p.m. to assist with an ambulance call at a residence on Hill Street in Blanchardville.

• A deputy responded at 2:34 p.m. to Wis. 81 in Argyle Township to assist with traffic control for an oversized load that was blocking both lanes of traffic.

• A deputy assisted a motorist at 3 p.m. with a vehicle unlock at a location on Woodberry Road in Willow Springs Township.

• A deputy responded at 4 p.m. to a complaint of an injured deer that had been struck by an unknown vehicle on Landon Road in Kendall Township.

• Brian L. Arnold, 49, was taken into custody at 8:44 p.m. on a valid warrant issued through the Department of Corrections. Arnold was jailed in Lafayette County on a probation hold.
