- Jose A. Villa-Martinez, 30, Darlington, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid license at 12:59 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, after deputies responded to a traffic complaint on Galena Street.

MONROE - Christopher J. Martinez, 29, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery, strangulation and false imprisonment under domestic-abuse laws at 8:42 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, in the 2100 block of 16th Street. He was jailed.
- Police issued warnings for unshoveled sidewalks to four residences on Saturday, Feb. 25, in the 1500 block of 15th Avenue, the 300 block of 2nd Street and the 1300 block of 28th Avenue.
- A broken window was reported at 7:01 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, in the 900 block of 10th Street. There was no evidence of a burglary.
- A business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West reported suspected counterfeit money at 7:02 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27. The case is under investigation.
- A business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West reported at 7:34 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, that it suspected a customer was fraudulently returning items for refund.

Neuenschwander, 18, New Glarus, was cited for retail theft, obstructing an officer and underage possession of alcohol at 12:28 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, after officers responded to a business in the 600 block of Wis. 69 for a report of property theft. Police located Neuenschwander after reviewing video surveillance footage.
- Jordan J. Ladow, 22, South Wayne, was cited at an unspecified location at 5:36 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, for having an illegal vehicle-window tint of 17 percent and driving without proof of vehicle insurance.

MONROE - Jessica Lee Northwood, 29, Darlington, was cited for failure to notify law enforcement of a crash at 5:03 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, after she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on County W near Wis. 92 in the Town of Exeter. She slid into a ditch and collided with a utility pole. She reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

King, 39, Blue Mounds, was cited for driving an uninsured vehicle and failing to notify police of an accident at 11:57 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, after he reportedly fled the scene when deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Schaefer Road east of Wis. 92 in the Town of Exeter. He had failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the north side of Schaefer Road, through a yard and across a driveway before hitting a tree. He reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage.
