MONROE - A person in the 800 block of 19th Avenue was warned at 11:26 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, for burning trash in an empty barrel, a container not approved by city code for a fire.
- Police took a report at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, that glass on a door at a residence in the 400 block of West 21st Street had been broken. Accounts conflict of how the glass broke, so the incident is still under investigation.
- A person in the 800 block of 19th Avenue was again warned at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, this time for burning yard waste without a permit from the fire department.
- Police issued a notice at 9:26 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, to a business in the 1000 block of 8th Street, to clean up trash and other junk sitting behind the business.
- A gas drive-off of $50 was reported at a gas station in the 700 block of 21st Street at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. The male suspect, who does not own the vehicle, has been identified. The case is still under investigation.

DARLINGTON - Donavan L. Smith, 22, Pearl City, Ill., was cited for driving without a license and failing to obey a stop sign at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, on County W in the Town of White Oak Springs.
- Jeremy L. Hefty, 29, Benton, was taken into custody on White Street in Benton at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, for three warrants issued by Lafayette County. He posted bond and was released.
- Jeremy J. Landstrom, 24, Cassville, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, after a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Benton. Landstrom was later released to a responsible party. The vehicle he was driving was undamaged and towed from the ditch.
- A deputy investigated a reported theft of medications at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at a residence on West Center Street in South Wayne.
