BELLEVILLE - Virginia L. Zweifel, 71, of rural Belleville, was cited for operating left of center and failing to obey an officer's signal at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, after officers responded to a complaint of an erratic driver heading into Belleville on Wisconsin 69. Zweifel reportedly pulled over and then drove off several times before she stopped for officers on County CC south of County W.
- Tangy M. Grant, 24, New Glarus, was cited for retail theft and issued a trespass warning at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, after officers investigated a report from a local business that a person had been concealing stolen items and then left the store.
- Bonita L. Eustice, 58, Oregon, was cited at 4:24 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, for speeding 47 mph in a 25 mph zone.
- A hit-and-run to a fire hydrant was reported at 1:29 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. The accident caused extensive damage, and the incident remains under investigation.
- Officers took a report at 6:39 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, that a thief had taken a pair of pink women's boots from the front porch of an area residence. A pair of men's Nike shoes was left. The case remains under investigation.

DARLINGTON - John Turpin, 44, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, following a disturbance at a downtown tavern.

- Kelvin L. Pryor, 18, Madison, was cited for theft of property at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, after officers investigated a Jan. 9 report of a theft at a residence on 1st Street.
- Annette P. Jordan-Estes, 53, New Glarus, was cited for driving without a valid license at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
- Jeffery M. Hefty, 53, Monticello, was arrested at 4:28 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, on an active warrant issued by Green County for probation and parole violations.
- Virgil L. Kingery, Jr., 32, Gratiot, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance and with no vehicle registration at 12:09 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, on Wis. 69 at County W.
- Police took a report at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, that a caller claiming to be with Kohl's Department Stores was trying to obtain an elderly resident's social security number over the phone. The resident did not fall for the fraud.
