BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - On Sunday, Dec. 22:

• A 14-year-old Brodhead female was cited at 11:08 p.m. for underage possession of tobacco in the 2100 block 1st Center Avenue for.

• Nicholas L. Erickson, 21, Brodhead, was cited for driving a vehicle by permittee without an instructor and driving a vehicle without insurance at 11:34 p.m. in the 1000 block 19th Street. Anther driver, Virgil E. Helmeid, Brodhead, was cited for failing to yield at an uncontrolled intersection.



On Wednesday, Dec. 25:

• Kyle B. Steiner, 23, Brodhead, was cited for driving after suspension and driving a vehicle without insurance stemming from a traffic accident on Tuesday, Dec. 24.



On Saturday, Dec. 28:

• Peter J. Bonlie, 57, Brodhead, was arrested for bail jumping at 1:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of E. 9th Avenue. He was transported to the Green County Jail.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Frederick D. Veeder, 39, Albany, was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27 in the W.1200 block of Wisconsin 59 in the Town of Albany. Veeder was jailed at the Green County Jail.

• Nathan S Egli, 39, Spring Green, was arrested for felony bail jumping at 3:22 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 after deputies responded to a 9-1-1 hang up at N9390 Benson Road in the Brooklyn Township. He was jailed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday, Dec. 27:

• A deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 7:34 a.m. to Wis. 78 in Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded to Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township at 1:06 p.m. for a traffic complaint of an erratic driver. The deputy located the vehicle and found the driver to be fine. The Darlington Police Department assisted.

• A deputy responded to County G in Belmont Township at 4 p.m. for a traffic complaint of juveniles sledding into the roadway. The deputy made contact with the juveniles and told them to not to go into the roadway.

• A deputy responded to County N in Argyle Township at 4:07 p.m. for a trespassing complaint.



On Saturday, Dec. 28

• A deputy found a vehicle in the ditch at 9:01 a.m. on County N in Argyle Township. Contact was made with owner to remove the vehicle.

• A deputy responded to Silver Springs Road in Wiota Township at 4:48 p.m. for multiple 9-1-1 hang up calls. The calls were the result of a child playing with a telephone.
