Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Paul K. Komprood, 60, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jacquelyn A. Ostby, 51, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday on County J, one-half mile south of Sullivan Lane in the Town of Washington. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Emery E. Backman, 62, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Thursday in the N6300 Block of County E in the Town of Albany. The car received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Thursday on private property on Kipfer Lane in Argyle township. Deputies report Sam C. Hanson, 65, Monroe, was backing a vehicle and struck a parked vehicle owned by Thomas Rygh, Argyle. Rygh's vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:15 a.m. Thursday on County F in Blanchardville township. Deputies report Rafael Santiago Ocasio, 31, Darlington, reportedly lost control when he swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle traveled into the ditch and became stuck in the snow. No further information was available.

• Ronda K. Klassy, 39, Blanchardville, reported striking a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 78 in Argyle township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• Deputies assisted the U.S. Marshall's Office with taking into custody Albert J. Fatla, 37, Rockford Ill., at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a business on S. Main Street in Blanchardville. Fatla was wanted by New Mexico authorities for a failure-to-appear warrant. Fatla was jail awaiting extradition to New Mexico.
