ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - Michael R. Kelly, 36, Janesville, was arrested Saturday for driving while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Kelley was also cited for driving with a suspended license, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of July 31 to Aug. 6, there were 56 citizen assists, 37 security checks, 29 vehicle registrations, 21 assists of other agencies, 10 EMS calls, eight calls for service, eight traffic stops, five 911 calls and three fire calls.

On July 31:

• A dog at large was reported at 1:33 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The dog was claimed by the Green County Humane Society.

• A 24-year-old Greensboro, N.C., man was cited at 10:09 a.m. for speeding in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:12 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A dog at large was reported at 5:07 p.m. in the N300 block of East 2nd Avenue. Police issued a warning to the dog's owner.

On Aug. 1:

• A theft was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police are seeking a suspect to question.

• Debris was reported left at a property at 5:08 p.m. in the 1900 block of West 7th Avenue.

• A 28-year-old Argyle man was arrested at 9:04 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (second offense) in the 800 block of 12th Street.

On Wednesday, a 32-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 11:35 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (third offense) in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday:

• A 22-year-old Oregon woman was cited at 10:25 a.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A 37-year-old Monroe man was cited at 12:52 p.m. for a seatbelt violation in the 600 block of 1st Street.

On Friday:

• A 59-year-old Beloit man was cited at 4:50 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• Harassment was reported at 8:48 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Saturday, Nicholas A. Hartwig, 36, Monroe, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) in the 600 block of West 8th Street. He was also cited for driving left of center, driving with open intoxicants, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Sunday, Alvin W. Walters Jr., 35, Evansville, was arrested at 6:25 a.m. on Brodhead Police warrants in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. Walters was released on bond.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Aug. 1:

• Dump trucks disturbing the peace were reported at 12:30 p.m. in the village.

• A dog running at large was reported at 3:34 p.m. in the 10 block of 2nd Street.

• Police warned a citizen at 8:18 p.m. for skateboarding on a business property in the 400 block of Railroad Street.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:24 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

On Aug. 2:

• A vehicle fleeing a hit-and-run accident in Dane County was reported at 1:45 p.m. on Wis. 69. New Glarus Police did not locate the vehicle.

• A missing dog was reported at 6:21 p.m.

On Wednesday:

• Police assisted the Monticello Police with a missing person report.

• Benjamin M. Chicker, 25, Monticello, was cited at 11:03 a.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving with a revoked license on Wis. 69.

• A lost item was reported at 12:33 p.m. between Monticello and New Glarus. The item was found and returned to its owner.

• A disabled vehicle was reported at 4:05 p.m. on 6th Avenue.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 5:45 p.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue.

• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 11:47 p.m. at a business in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. It was found to be an employee returning to work.

On Thursday:

• Cole A. Fortney, 16, Monroe, was cited at 11:37 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A missing person was reported at 1:55 p.m. in the 10 block of 6th Avenue. The person was later found.

• April D. Harrison, 35, Monroe, was cited at 4:10 p.m. for driving with a suspended license on Wis. 69.

On Friday:

• Sean A. Owen, 41, New Glarus, was cited at 12:53 a.m. for disorderly conduct in the 500 block of 2nd Street.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 10:03 a.m. with a malfunctioning light pole in the Town of Exeter.

• A parking complaint was made at 2:38 p.m. in the 10 block of 6th Avenue.

• Dustin L. Walters, 28, Rio, was cited at 3:54 p.m. for non-registration of a vehicle on Wis. 69.

• A burglar alarm was triggered at 5:30 p.m. at a business on 2nd Street. The alarm was found to have been accidentally triggered by an employee.

• Kevin A. Castro-Joya, 24, Fitchburg, was cited at 7 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted a citizen at 10:01 p.m. with a malfunctioning garage door in the 300 block of Heidi Court.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 10:51 p.m. with a noise disturbance at the New Glarus Woods.

On Saturday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 12:54 a.m. in the 500 block of 8th Street.

• Jennifer M. Wilson, 37, Savanna, Ill., was cited at 9:40 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A cat bite was reported at 11:16 a.m. at a New Glarus residence. The case is under investigation.

• Peter J. Buol, 56, New Glarus, was cited at 2:21 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A burglar alarm was triggered at 2:41 p.m. at a business on 2nd Street. The alarm was found to have been triggered accidentally by an employee.

• Dale M. Holland, 66, Eldridge, Iowa, was cited at 7:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 9:06 p.m. in the 1000 block of 8th Street.

• Police escorted an intoxicated man at 9:21 p.m. away from the Fireman's Festival.

• Carly R. Gilbertson, 20, Barneveld, was cited at 10 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

On Sunday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 12:56 a.m. in the 10 block of 4th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 1:06 a.m. with an OWI case.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:45 a.m. in the 400 block of 4th Avenue.

• A parking complaint was made at 10:30 a.m. in the 100 block of 4th Avenue.

• Police checked an individual's welfare at 3:19 p.m. in the village.

• A dog at large was reported at 6:06 p.m. in the 200 block of 9th Avenue.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• Alfonso Nogal-Matias, 44, Beloit, was cited at 4:18 a.m. for driving without a valid license in the W200 block of Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove.

• Anthony Paul Alongi, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. on a Department of Corrections warrant at the Green County Justice Center.

On Saturday:

• Brock A. Westby-Hess, 20, Monticello, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. for violating the absolute sobriety law and resisting arrest in the N4700 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.

• Scott M. White, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (second offense) in the N1300 block of County K, Town of Jefferson.

• Kathleen E. Kemmer, 49, Beloit, was arrested at 3:04 p.m. for bail jumping at the Crazy Horse Campground, Town of Decatur. Kemmer was jailed.

• Clyde L. Leverton, 45, Browntown, was arrested at 7:29 p.m. on a Department of Corrections probation warrant in Browntown. Leverton was jailed.

On Sunday:

• Carson M. Aeberhard, 26, Monticello, was arrested at 12:13 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) in the N7100 block of Wis.. 69, Town of New Glarus. He was also cited for following too closely and for driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration.

• Curtis I. Simplot, 31, Beloit, was cited at 12:51 a.m. for disorderly conduct on County KK, Town of Monroe.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 4:04 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 6:46 a.m. on English Hollow Road, Town of Fayette.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 9:30 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

• Joseph R. Brunner, 55, South Wayne, was cited at 10:13 a.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign on County M, Town of Wiota.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 11:53 a.m. on County G, Town of Kendall.

• Christopher D. Joles, 27, Arena, was cited at 12:01 p.m. for driving with a revoked license, without proof of vehicle insurance and with an expired vehicle registration on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton. He was later cited for the same charges at 1:48 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 2:27 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard.

• A traffic complaint was made at 3:35 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

• A 911 hangup occurred at 4:05 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

• Harassment was reported at 6:31 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• Riviera Perez-Salvador, 28, Darlington, was cited at 10:34 p.m. for driving without a valid license and failure to stop at a stop sign on County H, Town of Benton.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 11:36 p.m. on Penn Street in Belmont.

• Deputies responded at 5:01 a.m. to an alarm on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

• Harassment was reported at 10:20 a.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 10:55 a.m. on North State Street in Argyle.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 11:24 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• An attempted burglary was reported at 11:25 a.m. on Ridge Avenue in Benton.

• An attempted burglary was reported at 12:26 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

• A traffic complaint was made at 7:47 p.m. on Madison Street in Blanchardville.
