ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - On Aug. 8, David R. Yates, 31, Portage, was cited for disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 11, Olivia Lou Jean Halvorson, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license.

On Aug. 13:

• Cassey L. Simon, 26, Middleton, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol.

• David W. Abraham, 53, Machesney Park, Ill., was cited for public urination.

On Aug. 14, Tyler R. Fero, 28, Madison, was arrested for failing to obey a traffic sign, driving while intoxicated and with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration.

On Saturday:

• Nicholas J. Lazzeroni, 24, Milwaukee, was cited for public urination.

• Valentine S. Berg, 25, Delavan, was cited for public urination.

On Sunday, Mitchell L. Hefty, 54, Eland, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of Aug. 14 to Aug. 20, there were 51 citizen assists, 36 traffic stops, 33 security checks, 20 assists of other agencies, 16 calls for service, 16 vehicle registrations, eight EMS calls, six 911 calls and one fire call.

On Aug. 14, a disturbance was reported at 7:50 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Aug. 15, a 44-year-old Janesville man was arrested at 5:19 p.m. for stalking, trespassing and three counts of criminal damage to property.

On Aug. 16:

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A fraudulent IRS phone call was reported at 6:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of 10th Street.

• On Wednesday:

•A 24-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 3 p.m. for a seatbelt violation in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A trespasser was reported at 3:22 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street.

• A 19-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 3:23 p.m. for driving with a suspended license in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 21-year-old Janesville man was cited at 4:30 p.m. for failing to yield to a pedestrian in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday:

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:24 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The matter was resolved.

• A parking complaint was made at 4:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 54-year-old Elizabethtown, Ky., man was cited at 5:03 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A 34-year-old Janesville man was cited at 5:41 p.m. for speeding in the 200 block of 1st Street.

• A 64-year-old Stoughton man was cited at 8:54 p.m. for speeding in the 300 block of 1st Street.

• A 69-year-old Janesville woman was cited at 9:15 p.m. for speeding in the 200 block of 1st Street.

On Friday, a 45-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 28-year-old Brodhead woman were both cited at 9:24 p.m. for disorderly conduct after a disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Exchange Street.

On Saturday, a 28-year-old Albany woman was cited at 6:06 p.m. for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance in the 700 block of 2nd Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Saturday, a 16-year-old Monroe boy was arrested at 9:44 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 500 block of West 21st Street. The case was forwarded to Juvenile Intake.

On Sunday:

• Steven T. Wiegel, 26, Gratiot, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. for a probation violation in the 1300 block of 17th Street. Wiegel was jailed.

• Matthew P. Vincent, 59, Monroe, was arrested at 8:54 p.m. for disorderly conduct and substantial battery in the 2500 block of 10th Street. Vincent was jailed.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Aug. 15:

• Two orange traffic cones were found and delivered to the police at 10:03 a.m.

• A fraudulent IRS call was reported at 10:10 a.m.

• Police assisted the Bloomfield Police Department at 11:27 a.m. in serving a citation.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 2:34 p.m. with a damaged road sign outside the village limits.

• Joshua D. Fox, 41, South Wayne, was cited at 4:13 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wisconsin 69.

• Adam E. Niffenegger, 34, Monticello, was cited at 4:29 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving without a valid license on Wis. 69.

• Shawn M. Monroe, 45, Monticello, was cited at 5:12 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• John G. Yager, 51, Madison, was cited at 5:54 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted a citizen at 6:25 p.m. with Department of Transportation paperwork.

• Taylor M. Nealis, 21, New Glarus, was cited at 7:35 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

On Aug. 16:

• Police assisted Green County Human Services at 12:10 with a home inspection in the village.

• A parking complaint was made at 12:29 p.m. at a lot along Wis. 69.

• Jena M. Lawson, 42, Lena, Ill., was cited at 2:52 p.m. for driving with an expired vehicle registration in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• Stephanie J. Bandl, 30, Madison, was cited at 6:08 p.m. for driving with an expired vehicle registration on Wis. 69.

• Benjamin B. Atkinson, 53, New Glarus, was cited at 6:56 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 39.

• Larry L. Leck, 67, Monroe, was cited at 6:57 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Police issued a warning at 7:16 p.m. to the driver of an illegally parked vehicle in the 400 block of 3rd Street.

On Wednesday:

• Police received a lost identification card at 11:36 a.m. in the 1300 block of Wis. 69.

• A business alarm was triggered at 9:24 p.m. in the 1800 block of 2nd Street. Everything was found to be fine.

On Thursday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 8 a.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 11:35 a.m. in the 10 block of 14th Avenue.

• Kamchand Mathura, 38, Oregon, was cited at 3:06 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A civil dispute was reported at 4:10 p.m. in the 400 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 5:02 p.m. in the 500 block of 5th Street.

• A burglary was reported at 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Durst Road. The incident remains under investigation.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 7 p.m. at a church in the village.

• Stephan A. Foster, 36, New Glarus, was cited at 7:45 p.m. for driving with a revoked license on Wis. 69.

On Aug. 19:

• Police checked an individual's welfare at 9:30 a.m. in the village.

• Police assisted citizens at 9:48 a.m. with a child custody issue.

• Police received a lost driver's license at 10 a.m. found at the Chamber of Commerce. The license was returned to its owner.

• Aaron M. Pryce, 32, Albany, was cited at 5:08 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving with an expired vehicle registration on 6th Avenue.

• A theft from a vehicle from one week ago was reported at 5:31 p.m. Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to contact the New Glarus Police Department at (608) 527-2145.

• Rachel A. Vanhoose, 40, Skokie, Ill., was cited at 5:52 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Taylor J. Soddy, 22, Baraboo, was cited at 6:25 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 6:32 p.m. with a traffic stop in the Village.

• Dylan T. Luchsinger, 22, Monticello, was cited at 7 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A fireworks complaint was made at 8:26 p.m. on Valle Telle Drive.

• Joseph A. Paron, 64, Schaumberg, Ill., was cited at 8:41 p.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Railroad Street.

On Saturday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 10:49 a.m. in the 100 block of 6th Avenue.

• Blake E. Swalheim, 27, Cottage Grove, was cited at 12:40 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and non-registration of a vehicle on 14th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 3:30 p.m. with a traffic complaint of an erratic driver.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 9:38 p.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:50 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 10:56 p.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court.

On Sunday:

• A residential alarm was triggered at 1:24 a.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court. It was found to have been a false alarm.

• Austin T. Skogen, 20, Monroe, was cited at 12:28 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Wesley J. Brice, 43, Shorewood, was cited at 1:06 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 3:06 p.m. with a burglary within the Village. The case remains under investigation.

• Nicholas J. Boyd, 33, Downers Grove, Ill., was cited at 6:34 p.m. for driving with an expired vehicle registration in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Fireworks were reported at 8:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Valle Telle Drive.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 8:48 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Railroad Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Douglas B. Scace, 45, Monroe, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. for bail jumping in the W8200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.

• Brady J. Cullen, 26, South Wayne, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense), and was cited for driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, without proof of vehicle insurance and with defective headlights in the N5300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.

• Victor S. Krueger, 38, McFarland, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense), and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, driving left of the centerline and with open intoxicants in the N7500 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus.

On Sunday, Debra R. Dippen Watterson, 58, New Glarus, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. for trespassing in the W5700 block of County H, Town of New Glarus.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 2:32 a.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A theft was reported at 7:50 a.m. on County K, Town of Gratiot.

• A residential alarm was triggered at 10:52 a.m. on Old Highway 81, Town of Argyle.

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 11 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• A civil dispute was reported at 3:27 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• A civil dispute was reported at 5:19 p.m. on North Lafayette Street in Argyle.

• James A. Melton, 52, Darlington, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. on a probation and parole warrant. Melton was jailed.

• A theft was reported at 7:20 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.

• A traffic complaint was made at 9:55 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

• A theft was reported at 9 a.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
