Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jeremy A. Diaz-Barnett, 19, Albany, was arrested at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday for felony theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies investigated a burglary from a residence in the Town of Albany. Diaz-Barnett allegedly took a TV, an Ipad, a camera, jewelry, alcohol, a jar of coins, a safe and other miscellaneous items from the residence. Sheriff Mark Rohloff said there was well over $2,500 worth of items taken from the residence. Rohloff said the victim named Diaz-Barnett as a suspect, and deputies subsequently arrested him. Rohloff said most of the property was recoverd. Diaz-Barnett was jailed pending court. The incident remains under investigation.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 3:56 a.m. on North Park Street, Village of Belmont.

• A deputy responded at 3:38 p.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on Holland Road, Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded to a child custody dispute on Hilldale Road, New Diggings Township, at 7:18 p.m.

• Deputies checked the welfare of an individual on North Warren Street, Village of South Wayne.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Allen J. Penewell, 20, Cuba City, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday for an arrest warrant issued through Wisconsin probation and parole after police made contact with Penewell on Main Street. He was jailed pending court.
