Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On April 2:
• William M. Breen, 33, and Amanda L. Denman, 34, both of Mineral Point, were arrested at 12:14 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township and transported to the Lafayette County Jail. Breen is being charged with domestic disorderly conduct, strangulation and bail jumping. Denman is being charged with domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping. Both remain in custody. Rural Medical Ambulance Service assisted on scene.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:06 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township.
• Taylor M. Schulz, 21, Brodhead, was cited for speeding at 4:21 a.m. on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.
• Suspicious activity was reported at 7:56 a.m. on South Wyota Street in South Wayne.
• A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff with a warrant attempt at 10:25 a.m. on County M in Wiota Township.
• Suspicious activity was reported at 10:27 a.m. on Bean Street in New Diggings Township.
• Faisal S. S. Alotaibi, 19, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 6:30 p.m. on County W, Monticello Township.
• Livestock on the road was reported at 8:02 p.m. on County D in Wiota Township.
• An erratic driver was reported at 8:05 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.
• A suspicious person was reported at 9:52 p.m. on County F in Fayette Township.
• Seancody L. Anderson, 23, Monroe, was arrested on valid Lafayette County warrants at 11:16 p.m. by the Monroe Police Department. Anderson was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff's where he remains in custody.
On April 3:
• An erratic driver was reported at 5:53 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township.
• A deputy responded at 6:31 a.m. to South Street in Argyle for a welfare check. Argyle Ambulance assisted on scene.
• Fraud was reported at 10:44 a.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township.
• Theft was reported at 1:40 p.m. on County K in Darlington Township.
• Jason A. Rutherford, 35, Hazel Green, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 3:12 p.m. on County W, White Oak Springs Township.
• Denisse Martinez-Alvarez, 25, Whitewater, was cited for speeding and no proof of insurance at 6:36 p.m. on Wis. 23, Darlington Township.
• Stacey C. McGuire, 38, South Wayne, was arrested for disorderly conduct and bail jumping at 7:48 p.m. on County B in Wayne Township. McGuire was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.
• Jennifer L. Opitz, 43, Belmont, was cited for operating while intoxicated at 10:34 p.m. on Cottage Inn Road in Belmont Township. Opitz's 2009 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed. Belmont Police Department assisted.
On April 4:
• A traffic complaint was reported at 4:32 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.
• A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 5:18 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township.
• Trespassing was reported at 10:28 a.m. on Galena Street in Darlington Township.
• An injured deer was reported at 12:32 p.m. on Line Street in Blanchardville.
• A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 8:12 p.m. on West Catherine Street in Darlington.
