MONROE - On Monday, April 1:
Cody R. Stamm, 19, Monroe, was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense) at 1:36 a.m. in the 2300 block of 6th Avenue. He is also charged with unreasonable and imprudent speeding, having open intoxicants in the vehicle and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol level. Two passenger's in Stamm's vehicle, Jared W. Weber, 18, and Craig R. Kennison, 19, both of Monroe, were cited for underage drinking.
Briana A. Baugus, 21, Monroe, was arrested in the 1900 block of 11th Street on charges of disorderly conduct and battery after police investigated a 6:28 p.m. report of a disturbance the previous evening. Her live-in boyfriend, 23, alleged she slapped him, punched him and struck him in the head with a frying pan. She posted the required bond and was released pending court.
The theft of a WIC benefits card was reported at 9:52 a.m. in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue.
The owner of a pitbull involved in several complaints of running loose and being aggressive turned the dog over to the Green County Humane Society at 1:25 p.m. in the 700 block of 12th Avenue.
A gas drive-off of $73.18 was reported at 1:48 p.m. at the Monroe Northsider Mobil, 180 N. 18th Ave.
Police were called at 3:17 p.m. to a civil dispute between estranged spouses in the 900 block of 9th Street. The husband alleged his wife had moved his classic car without his permission. Police advised him the matter is civil and to talk to his attorney.
A man in the 500 block of West 21st Street reported at 4:44 p.m. that he had an agreement with a woman about selling her his truck. He told police she made a partial payment for the vehicle, then asked if she could use it to go pick up her kids. She never came back. Police advised him the case doesn't rise to the level of theft since they had a civil agreement about the sale.
A landlord in the 800 block of 8th Street complained at 7:40 p.m. that a tenant was allowing another person to stay there and this person was causing problems. Police told the landlord the matter is still civil and the tenant can be served an eviction notice.

Peter C. Ruzicka, 50, Big Bend, was cited for speeding at 4 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg Township.
Mark A. Ubersox, 30, Darlington, was arrested on a probation warrant at 7:25 p.m. on Wildcat Road in Darlington Township. He was jailed.
A theft was reported at 12 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton.
The theft of a television on Pinch Lane in Benton Township was reported at 12:25 p.m.
