MONROE - On April 13:
♦ Mark F. Steinmann, 66, Monroe, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery at 10:47 p.m. in the N2300 block of Bethel Road in the Town of Clarno. Steinmann posted bond and was released pending court.
Brodhead Police Department
BRODHEAD - For the week of April 8 through April 14, the Brodhead Police Department reported 25 calls for service, five follow up to incidents, 21 vehicle registrations, 38 citizen assists, 37 security checks, 10 assists with other agencies, eight traffic stops, 11 911 calls, four fire calls and nine EMS calls.
On April 8:
♦ A 45-year-old Madison man was arrested for operating without a valid license at 4:59 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.
On April 9:
♦ A 37-year-old Brodhead man was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 6:19 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 9th Avenue.
♦ A 45-year-old Albany woman was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:33 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 3rd Avenue.
♦ A 14-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct following the report of a lewd text message at 9:37 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street.
♦ A dog at large was reported at 10;41 a.m. in the 1400 block of West 3rd Avenue. The dog was released to its owner.
♦ A 53-year-old Monticello man was cited for speeding at 12:18 p.m. in the 100 block of East 4th Avenue.
♦ A bus passing complaint was reported at 4:03 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street. This matter remains under investigation pending contact with the driver.
♦ A dog at large was reported at 5:06 p.m. in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police canvased the area but were unable to locate the dog.
On April 10:
♦ A child restraint violation was reported at 11:06 a.m. in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police did not witness any violation.
♦ A juvenile causing a disturbance at a residence was reported at 4:20 p.m. in the 500 block of 10th Street. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.
♦ A code violation was reported at 4:38 p.m. in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue. The reporting party noticed a bag of recyclables in his dumpster they didn't put in there. No charges were requested.
On April 11:
♦ A 14-year-old juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct following an altercation with another subject at 12:43 p.m. in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue.
On April 12:
♦ Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:53 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street. Two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation. No charges were requested.
♦ Truancy was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Contact was made and a warning was issued.
♦ A 35-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for speeding at 4:43 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.
♦ A 43-year-old Janesville woman was cited for speeding at 5:41 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.
♦ A 26-year-old Stoughton woman was cited for speeding at 5:54 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.
♦ A 39-year-old Monroe man was cited for speeding at 6:10 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.
♦ A 21-year-old Orfordville man was cited for failure to display license plates and improper display (tinted plate cover) at 7:16 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street.

New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - On April 9:
♦ Police responded at 3:38 p.m. to the 300 block of 5th Street for a welfare check. The subject was not home; contact was made later and everything was fine.
♦ A trailer that had not moved in several days was reported at 10:44 p.m. to the 200 block of 3rd Avenue. The tires were marked.
On April 10:
♦ Possession of tobacco by a minor was reported at 3:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street. The juvenile was issued a citation for the violation.
♦ A knife found in the village park was turned in to police at 4:30 p.m.
On April 11:
♦ New Glarus Police assisted Belleville Police with an operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated arrest at 12:16 a.m.
♦ A dog at large was reported at 10:39 a.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue.
♦ Daniel L. Stowers, 52, Grand Marsh, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while revoked, non-registration of a motor vehicle, improper display of a license plate and no vehicle insurance at 2:09 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.
♦ Dogs at large were reported at 4:22 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street. The owner was located and the dogs were returned home.
♦ Police were advised of a subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at 4:53 p.m. parked along the 1100 block of Wis. 69. In making contact with the driver, it was learned he was taking a nap while waiting for someone to pick him up.
On April 12:
♦ Naomi R. Balderas, 34, New Glarus, was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:33 a.m. Balderas was transported to the Green County Jail.
♦ Shaliko S. Harry, 20, New Glarus, was cited for a seatbelt violation after a traffic stop for a registration violation at 3:15 p.m. on 14th Avenue at Wis. 69.
♦ Alexis L. Furino, 26, Monticello, was cited for inattentive driving and possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:38 p.m. after a call of a traffic complaint on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.
On April 13:
♦ A dog at large was reported at 10:08 a.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street. Alan J. Blahnik, 38, New Glarus, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.
♦ Battery involving a juvenile was reported at 12:50 p.m. in the 100 block of 4th Avenue on the afternoon of April 12. This case has been referred to juvenile intake.
♦ Josie Borges, 37, New Glarus, was cited for speeding at 2:41 p.m. in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue.
On April 14:
♦ Police removed a tree limb from the road at 9:59 a.m. in the 300 block of Kubly Road.
♦ New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office at 2:24 p.m. with a one-vehicle accident in the W4800 block of County W.
♦ Suspicious activity was reported at 3:28 p.m. in a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle was not located.
On April 15:
♦ Harassment was reported at 6:27 p.m. in the 700 block of 6th Avenue. Police cited Courtney J. Jackson, 21, Monroe, for harassment.
♦ Theft of a license plate was reported at 6:55 p.m. in the 800 block of 3rd Street.
