Monroe Police

MONROE - Nathan R.M. Sweet, 22, Monroe, was arrested and jailed on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Probation/Parole at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of 11th Street.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Guadalupe Acosta, 49, Beloit, was cited for a second offense of driving without a valid driver's license on Wisconsin 11 at County GG in Town of Spring Grove following a stop for a traffic violation. Acosta was released.

• Tom A. Loterbauer, 48, Janesville, was arrested for shooting within 100 yards of a dwelling following a report of two subjects shooting guns near the golf course at 5:36 p.m. in the W800 block of Golf Course Road in Town of Decatur. Loterbauer posted bond and was released. The Brodhead Police Department assisted at the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• A deputy responded to a report of dogs running at large and being unlicensed at 12:27 p.m. on Temple Street in Benton.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 1:45 p.m. on Main Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy responded to a report of criminal damage to property at 9:16 p.m. on Center Drive Road in Elk Grove Township.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 10:07 p.m. on Silverthorn Road in Shullsburg Township.

• Deputies, Darlington Police Department, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources responded to a welfare check at 10:11 p.m. on Knoll Street in Blanchardville. Blanchardville Ambulance and Blanchardville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
