Monroe Police

MONROE - A 16-year-old male from Monroe was arrested at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue for possession of a concealed weapon for allegedly having a knife. The juvenile was referred to Green County Juvenile Intake and released pending a court appearance.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jean A. Abel, 49, Brooklyn, was arrested at about 11:09 a.m. for first-offense driving while under the influence of alcohol, following a traffic stop on Wis. 104, near King Road, in the Town of Brooklyn. Abel was cited for prohibited alcohol concentration and driving left of center. Abel was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Ellen M. Cragg, 42, Belmont, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery following a report at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday related to a dispute between two females at a residence on County G in the Town of Belmont. Cragg left the residence prior to deputies arrival, but was apprehended later that day. Cragg also had a Lafayette County child support warrant, a Grant County child support warrant, and a Richland County warrant for failure to pay a traffic offense. Cragg was jailed.

- Christina J. Wierman, 21, Benton, was taken into custody at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday on a Dubuque County warrant. Wierman was jailed.

- Lori L. Loomis, 49, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 7:46 Wednesday on County N, in the Town of Wayne. The passenger in the vehicle, Scott W. Bartosik, 52, South Wayne, was arrested on a bail jumping charge related to a Green County case. Bartosik was later released pending further investigation.
