Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, April 11:

- Police were called to an argument between husband and wife at 3:31 a.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue. No one was arrested. The wife went elsewhere for the night.

- A case containing a drill and charger was reported lost at 10:30 a.m., possibly in the area of 12th Street and 20th Avenue. If found, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

- Police were called at 11:40 a.m. to a complaint that a non-resident was putting trash into a residential trash bin in the 2100 block of 16th Avenue. The offender has been identified and will be cited.

- A resident in the 2800 block of 1st Street reported a theft of cash from her home at 3:25 p.m. Police are investigating leads.

- A resident in a trailer park in the 800 block of 8th Street complained about neighbors playing loud music at 9:28 p.m. Police warned the neighbors.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Amy K. Smith, 53, Brooklyn, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies responded at 6:08 a.m. Thursday, April 11, to a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the N7600 block of County C in Brooklyn Township. She was also cited for driving too fast for conditions. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was to be removed by the owner later in the day.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, April 11:

- An unwanted male at a residence was reported at 1:29 p.m. on County K in Darlington Township.

- Deputies responded at 9:54 p.m. to a report of disorderly conduct on West Main Street in Benton.
