Penelope K. Brentner, age 74, of Monroe, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Monroe Health Services in Monroe. She was born on May 8, 1943 in Rockford, IL; the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Lindenberg) Anderson.
Penelope and Carleton Brentner were married in Rockford, on May 7, 1966.
She was employed with Karen Spinners, Delmonte, and Swiss Colony.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe. She enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley and the Beach Boys.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Fiancé Lisa De Broux) Brentner of Monroe; sister, Kathleen Carr; brothers, Bruce, Brian and Steven Anderson; brother-in-law, Howard (Pat) Brentner; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Spoonhour officiating.
