Brodhead - Pearl V. Nyborg, age 86, of Brodhead, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Woods Crossing Nursing Home, Brodhead. She was born on March 10, 1926 at the creamery in Argyle, WI, the daughter of Charles Franklin and Mary Jane (Partridge) Sowl. She married Arlin O. Nyborg on November 13, 1943 at the Argyle Methodist Church. They had 68 wonderful years of marriage.
Pearl was a homemaker and spent 21 years as the wife of a serviceman, moving all over the United States and 3 years in England. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Brodhead, and the VFW Auxiliary. Pearl and her husband spent their winters in Arizona. She loved to play cards.
She is survived by her husband, Arlin; two sons, Rodney (Patricia) Nyborg, Colorado Spring, CO, Kenneth (Deb) Nyborg, Ossian, IN; two daughters, Virginia (Ronald) Deal, Freeport, IL, Linda Nyborg, Monroe, WI; a brother, Frank (Julie) Sowl, Argyle, WI; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Mound Sowl, and a sister, Verda.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the United Methodist Church, Brodhead, with Rev. Ellis "Hap" Itson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Argyle, WI.
