Patsy J. Kenney, age 64, of Monroe, died on Friday, January 17, 2014 at her home. She was born on August, 15, 1949 in Freeport, Illinois, daughter of George and Genevieve (McKibben ) Kenney.
Patsy and Joseph E. Wilson were married on October 6, 1983. She attended the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Kenney of Kannapolis, NC; Dixie Kenney of Monroe; brothers, Donald (Dixie) Kenney of Covington, GA; Robert Kenney of Brodhead; William (Marj) Kenney of Juda; Richard (Luann) Kenney of Warren, IL; sisters, Dorothy (Larry) Goodman of Brodhead; Georgia (Raymond) Flesher of Monroe; grandchildren: Emma Lehman, Elliott Drain, Tarrah Drain, all of Monroe, Cara Jo Kenney and Nicolas Munguia, of Kannapolis, NC; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, sisters, Audrey Krebs and Marion Thompson.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 22, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Spoonhour officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Hawthorne Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
