Patricia "Pat" Louise Hendrickson

Patricia "Pat" Louise Hendrickson, age 82 of Blanchardville, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Madison to Carl and Alma (Zingg) Raemisch. She grew up in Madison where she graduated from Madison West High School in 1951. She worked at the Madison central office for the school system and at the Department of Motor Vehicles. She was married in Madison in July 1956 to Andy Hendrickson. They lived in Blanchardville where she worked for local attorney Eldon Hird. In 1966, Andy started working at the feed mill in Hollandale, and Pat soon joined him in working there until 1974. They then operated Hendrickson Feed Service in Hollandale for several years. She next worked at Zim's Cheese as a bookkeeper for many years. Pat and Andy spent many years buying and selling antiques and collectibles at flea markets and antique malls in southern Wisconsin. She loved gardening, fishing, baking, Badger basketball, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blanchardville.

Pat is survived by her husband, Andy Hendrickson of Monroe; six children, Andy Jr. (Lisa) Hendrickson of Monroe, Kay (Jim) Johnson of Blanchardville, Mike (Susan) Hendrickson of Hollandale, Larry (Sherri) Hendrickson of Monroe, Teresa (Mike) Johnson of Blanchardville, and Pat (Denise Bahler) Hendrickson of Monroe; 10 grandchildren, Matt Johnson, Sara (Derek) Wirth, Jason Hendrickson, Molly Hendrickson, Nick Hendrickson, Alex Hendrickson, Tannar (Cortney Gilbertson) Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Jessica Hendrickson and Lauren Hendrickson; and two great-grandchildren, Easton Hendrickson, and Mason Staggs; and one sister, Esther Schmid of Brooklyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A prayer service in her memory will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Blanchardville American Legion Post. A gathering for the celebration of Pat's life will follow from 11:30 until 1:30 PM at the Legion. The Saether Funeral Home in Blanchardville is assisting the family.
