Patricia J. Lindsay, age 77 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born June 6, 1931 in Monroe the daughter of Chester and Gladys (Tuescher) Stubbe and graduated from Monroe High School in 1949.

Patricia and Wallace Lindsay were married on October 8, 1949 in Monroe. Pat worked for Frito Lay in Monroe, enjoyed wintering in Arizona, stock car races, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #599, and was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church and Monroe United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Wallace "Red" Lindsay of Monroe; two sons, Mark (Marsha) Lindsay of Northville, MI and Curt (Kathie) Lindsay of Monroe, WI; five grandchildren, Brian, Nikki, Bruce, Travis, and Calli; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and step-dad, Earl Meythaler.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
