Norbert J. Aurit, age 51 of Monroe, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 of natural causes. He was born on November 2, 1963, the son of George and Gertrude (Kerkel) Aurit.
Norbert was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, and he shared that love with his family and friends, taking them on journeys in search of the elusive musky and other catches. He was a great cook who loved to improvise and share his creations with family. Norbert was a huge supporter of everything his nephews did, and rarely missed one of their sporting events. An amazing story-teller, he chronicled the adventures of his brothers, family and friends. He had such a big heart, a big personality and a big laugh, and made everyone happier by just being around him.
He is survived by his brothers: Tony (Tia Carlson) Aurit and Chris (Becky) Aurit, both of Monroe; nephews: Andrew and Alex Aurit. He was preceded in death by his parents.
