It is with great sadness that the family of Nathan J. Adams, age 34, announces his death after a month-long battle from stroke complications. "Nate," of Monroe, WI, passed peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Nate will be lovingly remembered by his fiance, Kara Laeser, his six children, his parents, his many siblings and many other family and friends. His contagious smile will surely be missed.

Nate was born on October 9, 1983 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He graduated from Stevens Point High School in 2002. His love and devotion for his family was evident: he could be found rolling on the floor with his kids or cooking one of his famous meals in the kitchen. He loved cheering on the Packers from his living room or going to a game with Kara. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing or bow hunting. His second home was at Alphorn or Bryden Ford where he enjoyed his job as a salesman.

Nate is survived by his fiance Kara Laeser (Monroe), his six children Serena (16), Natalie (13), Erica (12), Landyn (10), Kaelyn (6), Jameson (4), his parents Cheryl Mork and Joe Valiska, his sisters Jamie Wall (Norwalk), Mandy Gibson (Elroy), Angie Solchenberger (Mauston), Jessica Shultz (Wisconsin Rapids), Becky Adams (Wisconsin Rapids), Rockell West (Baraboo), his brother Seth Adams (Wisconsin Rapids) and by aunts and uncles. Nate is preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Mork, grandpa and grandma Goodacre, father Jim Adams and loving uncle Scott Mork.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 18 at Crossroads Community Church, 222 Old Argyle Road, Monroe WI. A meal will be served following the celebration. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations for his family would be appreciated. They can be mailed to Kara Laeser, 622 16th Ave, Monroe, WI 53566.

A sincere thank you to the staff at UW Hospital Neurosurgery ICU for their wonderful care of Nate during his last month of life.
