Nancy J. Bunker age 71 of Monroe, Wisconsin, formerly of Winslow, Illinois, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born December 21, 1938 in Monroe the daughter of Fred and Sarah (Sproul) Neuenschwander and graduated from Orangeville, IL High School in 1956.
Nancy and Glenn Bunker were married on June 20, 1958 at the Orangeville Methodist Church. Nancy was employed at Newell Corporation in Freeport, IL for many years and upon retiring worked at the Bargain Depot part-time. She was a former member of the Orangeville Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn Bunker of Monroe, WI; son, Michael Bunker of Monroe, WI; daughters, Cindy (Allen) Walters of South Wayne, WI and Sue Muszynski of Monroe, WI; brother, Ralph (Margaret) Neuenschwander of South Wayne, WI; brother-in-law, Donald (Dorothy) Bunker, Jr. of Winslow, IL; sister-in-law, Darlene (Don) Potter of Winslow, IL; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Nathan and Fred Neuenschwander; sister, Letha Bunnell; mother and father-in-Law, Donald and Aletha Bunker; and sister-in-law, Donna (Bob) Springer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe with Rev. Kevin Cernek officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund is being established in Nancy's memory.
