On February 29:

● At 11:59 p.m., officers arrested Calvin J. Gassman, 69,  of Lena, IL, following a traffic offense stop in the 2000 block of 10th Avenue. Gassman was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence-1st offense, and was also cited for an improper left turn. Gassman was booked and released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

● At 11:59 PM, officers arrested Amber R. Gassman, 37, of Monroe, in connection with a traffic offense stop of a vehicle which Gassman was a passenger in. During that stop, officers found open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. That evidence led to Gassman being charged with two counts of felony bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions on other prior felony cases prohibiting the possession or consumption of alcohol, and also being charged with two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping due to violations of bail conditions of other prior misdemeanor cases with the same prohibitions. Gassman was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
