MONROE - Injuries were reported during a three-vehicle accident at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the intersection of 8th St. and 8th Ave.
According to initial reports, a vehicle driven by Barbara J. Rockey, 81, Juda, exited a private driveway onto the 800 block of 8th St. and collided with a vehicle driven by Queena H. Martin, 26, Browntown. Martin's vehicle was then propelled into a vehicle driven by Lyudmilla M. Moser, 42, Monroe.
A 5-year-old passenger in Moser's vehicle received minor injuries and was transported by Monroe EMS to Monroe Clinic hospital. Martin was also transported to Monroe Clinic but had no visible injuries. No other injuries were reported.
All vehicles had moderate to severe damages and were towed from the scene. Seatbelts were worn.
Rockey was cited for failure to yield the right of way when entering a highway from a driveway and was released.
