JANESVILLE - Melody Kay Milestone, age 55, of Janesville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Darlington, WI, on Nov. 12, 1952, the daughter of Carroll and Dawne (Bleakley) Milestone. Melody was employed by General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the UAW Local 95, Women of the Moose, and volunteered for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Melody enjoyed her time on her Harley Sportster, traveling, watching the Green Bay Packers, enjoying time with special friends in card club, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 children, Jason (Kari) Heidenreich of Janesville, and Philip (fiancee', Becky Terry) Boylan of Milwaukee; 2 grandchildren, Mitchell and McKenzie; her mother, Dawne Milestone of Shullsburg; a paternal grandmother, Toots Milestone; a sister, Diane (Jerry) Lux of Janesville; a brother, Clark (Denise) Milestone of Columbia City, IN; 5 nieces and nephews: Tammy Bastian, Tony Bastian, Sarah Milestone, Cody Milestone, and Tammy Kauffman. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll; paternal grandfather, Clarence Milestone; and maternal grandparents, Burl and Grace Bleakley.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at ST. MARK LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. Paul Speerbrecher officiating.
