Mary Louise Shomo McCauley, 76, of Argyle Wisconsin passed away at the University of Wisconsin Hospital on September 14th, 2016. Mary was born on May 22nd, 1940 in Chicago Illinois. She is predeceased by her father, Erwin Henry Shomo, Network Executive, mother, Kathryn Louise Evans, homemaker and brother, Albert T. Shomo, Longshoreman. She graduated with the class of 1957 at Glenbrook High School in Glenview, Illinois.
Mary is survived by her former husband, Richard Emmett McCauley, to whom she was married for 34 years, their four children, Laura Lynn, Shaun Patrick, Albert Shayne, Lissa Michelle, five grandchildren, Megan McCauley Cassidy, Daniel Mark Cassidy, Ryan Shayne McCauley, Katie Lorraine McCauley, Ashley Lynn McCauley and three great grandchildren, Logan Shayne Lewis, Aiden Joseph Lewis and Jackson Ryan Nichols.
Mary was a Deacon at the Union Presbyterian Church, and a member of The Sons of Norway. She was an avid animal lover, gardener, interior decorator, cook and baker excelling in Cannelloni and Christmas cookies. Mary loved fashion and football (Go Packers!), but most of all, her family. Memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania in late October near her immediate family. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
