Mary Joan Black ("Joanne") passed away on July 12, 2011.
Joanne was born March 21, 1928 to Beatrice and Floyd Hartman of Durand, Illinois. She married David Black of Brodhead, Wisconsin on April 8, 1955, and they had two children, Daniel and Tambra.
They lived and farmed outside of Albany, WI on County EE for many years, later moved to New Glarus, and finally she and Dave spent their later years in Monroe, WI at West Win Heights.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave and her beloved son, Dan.
She is survived by her daughter, Tambra Black; 3 grandchildren, David Black, Jeremy Black, and Nicole (Les) Davis; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Joanne was a vibrant, feisty woman who loved life and people. She was blessed with many good friends and she will be eternally loved.
