Marilyn E. Crubaugh, age 83, formerly of Prairie Du Chien, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster. She was born February 28, 1933 the daughter of Fred and Alice (Cooley) White. Marilyn graduated from Mount Hope High School in 1951. She was united into marriage to Graydon R. Crubaugh on June 8, 1951 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Together they farmed in central and southeast Wisconsin, eventually settling on a farm in the Monroe area. In 1975 Graydon and Marilyn moved to Monroe. She also drove school bus, and was a wonderful caregiver to many. Marilyn enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and her garden. She dearly loved her family, and keeping up with their activities.

Surviving are her children, Kathryn (Randall) Paske, John Crubaugh, James (Cathy) Crubaugh, Lori Crubaugh - Ellefson, 9 grandchildren, Erin (John Rook) Paske, Jason (Laura), and Ben (Chrissy Deal) Paske, Kate Stuart, Anne, Allison, Joe, Lindsey Crubaugh, and Marissa Ellefson, 5 great grandchildren, her siblings, Florence Krachey, Doris (Arthur) Fremont, Virgil (Beverly) White, Ruth (Wally) Brown, Roger (Marjorie) White, and a sister in law, Carolyn (Roger) White - Knapp, nieces, nephews, and many members of the Crubaugh family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster, with Rev. Mark Hoehne officiating. Private Family burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe, WI. Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. A Marilyn E. Crubaugh memorial fund has been established.
