Marie Ann Tuska, Garland, Texas, formerly from Gratiot, Wisconsin passed away peacefully November 14, 2015 with her best friend and caregiver beside her.
Marie was born December 4, 1933 in Darlington, Wisconsin to Ernest and Ruth Anna Kaempfer. She joined a brother Paul and sister Louise at home.
Marie grew up helping on the farm, graduated from high school, went to Milwaukee, married and pursued a career where she landed with Mobil Oil for years. It was through her work where Marie met and established most of her most important and dearing relationships.
Marie worshipped at Central Congregational Church in Dallas, Texas and Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington, Wisconsin.
Marie's family sincerely thanks all of her Texas and Wisconsin friends for their support and friendships. Marie was and will always be remembered and revered for among many attributes, her work ethic, wit and her ability to let you know what exactly was on her mind.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents Ernie and Ruth Kaempfer, husband Bob in 1983, brother Paul (Rita) Kaempfer and sister Louise (Virgil) Olmstead. Marie is survived by nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, Illinois and Florida.
A memorial service will be held for Marie on Feb. 20, 2016 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington, Wis. A short visitation will be held at 10:30 am before service. A luncheon will be held in fellowship hall after service. There will be a burial at a later date.
