Marian Ruth Kerr age 87 died Saturday August 27, 2016 at Collinwood Nursing Home Orfordville. She was born on September 4, 1928 in Monroe Wisconsin the daughter of William and Grace (Baltzer) Dieckhoff. Marian married James Kerr in June of 1956 and he preceded her in death in July 1956. She worked most of her life as a supervisor for a medical clinic. She was an avid bowler, golfer and liked to watch the PGA on TV. She was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Wisconsin Badgers. She is survived by her children; Kim (Randy) Bowers of Brooklyn, Kathy (Bill) Wiese of Montana, a grandson; Jason Gempler of Ashland, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Thelma Shager, brothers; Kenneth and Willis Dieckhoff, a granddaughter Robyn Bowers, a niece Jeanne Hansen, a nephew Robert Shager. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday September 2, 2016 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville with Reverend Gary Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Monroe Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home Friday.
