Margaret B. Hartwig, age 89, of Monroe, died on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on November 6, 1926 in Wiota Township, the daughter of Emil and Bertha (Wiedman) Stoller. Margaret graduated from Monroe High School in 1944.
Margaret and Frederick Hartwig were married on January 28, 1945 in Monroe.
She farmed along with her husband on the family farm.
She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick of Monroe, children: Lonna (Fred) Hefty of San Diego, CA; Cynthia (Gary) Gerber of Winslow, IL, Peggy (Gene) Boeck of Albany, WI, FredRick (Cheryl) Hartwig of Browntown, Richard Hartwig of Monroe; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was predeceased by her parents, daughter, LuAnn and granddaughter, Toni Boeck.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall N3073 State Highway 59, Monroe, with Phil Stephenson officiating.
Visitation will be May 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Kingdom Hall.
