MONROE - A Monroe man was arrested at about 3 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of 22nd Avenue on Monroe's north side following an investigation into drug trafficking by the State Line Area Narcotics Team.
Daniel J. Kundert, 19, was arrested for possession of Oxycontin, felony bail jumping and obstructing an officer.
Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley said Kundert had about 180 milligrams of Oxycontin in his possession at the time of his arrest. The drugs had a street value of about $180, Kelley said.
Kundert was transported to the Green County Jail pending a future court appearance.
No court date has been scheduled.
According to court records, on Oct. 22 Kundert was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a switchblade knife, both class A misdemeanors, and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both unclassified misdemeanors. He was released on a $1,500 signature bond. He was scheduled for a pretrial conference Dec. 29.
