Lynn A. Bowers, age 55 of Monroe, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Ft. Pierce Hospital in Florida. She was born on January 15, 1958 in Monroe, the daughter of Keith and Beverly (Hanson) Hudson. Lynn graduated from Monroe High School in 1976. Lynn married Randall Bowers in May of 1980. She worked at Oaktron and MTX for many years. She enjoyed being on her computer, doing jigsaw puzzles, watching TV, especially football; but being with her family and friends was her greatest enjoyment.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Hudson of Monroe; 3 sisters: Sandy (Jim) Huston of Jefferson, Connie O'Hay of Jenson Beach, FL and Amy (Brian) Brandt of Monroe; nephews: Dan and Ryan Huston and Daniel O'Hay; nieces: Ruby and Millie Brandt and a special friend Joe Gibson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Merle Hanson; paternal grandparents, William and Ida Hudson; father, Keith; daughter, Robyn Bowers; aunt, Ruth Hanson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., January 15, 2014 at Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home, with Reverend John Tabaka officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
