Green County Sheriff

On November 18:

● At approximately 8:24 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the N5300 block of State Highway 69, Town of Washington, for speeding. Investigations resulted in the driver, Alexander Olmos Garcia, 22, of Monroe, being arrested for operating while under the influence. Olmos Garcia was further cited for his speed. Olmos Garcia was released to a responsible party.

● At approximately 11:23 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W6700 block of State Highway 11, Town of Monroe, for operating left of center. Investigations resulted in the driver, Tanner L Sweeney, 28, of Browntown, being arrested for operating while under the influence. Sweeney was further cited for operating left of center and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (greater than .15). Sweeney was released to a responsible party.


Lafayette County Sheriff

On November 4:

● 10:25 p.m. Misti M Cunzenheim, 35, Darlington was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated, 3rd Offense on STH 11, Gratiot Township. Cunzenheim was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and released to a responsible party.

● 11:17 p.m. Jamie L Roberts, 42. Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 11, Shullsburg Township. No injuries were reported and Roberts’s 2012 Kia received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On November 5:

● 11:47 a.m.  A deputy and Darlington Police responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a two vehicle accident.

On November 7:

● 7:30 a.m. Anne M. Lancaster, 56, South Wayne reported striking a deer on Mau RD, Wayne Township. Lancaster’s 2021 Jeep received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.


Monticello Police

On November 15:

● At approximately 9:01 a.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Monroe Street for a reported vandalism.  After conducting an investigation, several juvenile suspects were identified and parents were notified.  The juveniles were taken back to the area to clean up the mess that they made.
