Lafayette County Sheriff

On January 20:

● 11:11 p.m. Taylor J Gerlach, 29, Brodhead reported striking a deer on Wis. 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported. Gerlach’s 2021 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:46 p.m. Kyah J Hendrickson, 22, Argyle reported striking a deer on Wis. 78, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported. Hendrickson’s 2019 Jeep received minor damage and was driven from the scene. 

On January 21:

● 2:05 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH KK, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident. Hayden C Brunner, 19, South Wayne went off the roadway, into the ditch, and hit a guardrail. No injuries were reported. Brunner’s 1996 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. As a result, Brunner was cited with Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control, Inattentive Driving, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign, and Underage Person Possess Consume Alcohol (1st).

● 9:41 p.m. Darlington Fire, Lafayette County EMS, Darlington Police, and a deputy responded to Roller Coaster Road, Darlington Township for an iPhone crash report which resulted in lost property being returned.


Monroe Police

On February 21:

● At 9:04 p.m., officers were called to the 2400 block of 10th Street for an altercation. The investigation led to the arrest of Hannah J. Peterson, 18, of Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws, and with obstructing an officer. Peterson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
