Monroe Police
On Oct. 27:
● At approximately 3:41 p.m., Officers assisted the Green County Sheriff’s Office with an arrest in the 300 block of S. Main Street. The arrest stemmed from a Green County Sheriff’s Office investigation.
On Oct. 28:
● At approximately 2:07 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Monroe Street to attempt to locate a person that had an active arrest warrant through Green County Child Support. A short time later officers took Gregory L. Wilhite, 50, Monroe, into custody for the child support warrant. Wilhite was transported and incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
● At approximately 3:36 p.m., Officers received information in the 500 block of N. Monroe Street about a stray black colored cat that has been in the area.
● 4:16 p.m., officers were called to a report of a retail theft at a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. An investigation led to the arrest of Joseph P. Foley (64), Juda, on a charge of retail theft. Foley was released pending a court appearance. 10:56 PM, officers arrested Timothy S. Miller (35), Monroe, in the 700 block of l2th Avenue, on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin s Domestic Violence laws. Miller was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
On Oct. 29:
● At 7:35 p.m., officers arrested Victor L. Driver (22), Freeport (IL), in the 700 block of 8th Avenue, following a report of an intoxicated person operating a motor vehicle. Driver was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-lst offense, and was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration and for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Driver was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On Oct. 30:
● At 2:05 a.m., officers arrested Brandon K. Boyden (32), Monroe, in the 2000 block of 4th Street. Boyden was charged with one (l) count of felony bail jumping and two (2) counts of misdemeanor bail jumping for violating bail conditions on prior cases. Boyden was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
Lafayette County Sheriff
On Nov. 6:
● 1:02 a.m. Deputies responded to Main ST in the Village of Gratiot for a check welfare.
● 9:35 a.m. Argyle EMS responded to Mill ST in the Village for a medical emergency.
● 10:47 a.m. A deputy responded to W Oates ST in the City of Shullsburg for a 911 misdial.
● 12:11 p.m. A deputy responded to E Main ST in the Village of Benton for a 911 misdial.
● 12:13 p.m. A deputy responded to W Main ST in the Village of Benton for a minor two vehicle accident. Jordan M Nodorft, 20, Shullsburg was driving his 2017 Ford when he struck Paula M Schoenberg, 56, Rewey, operating her 2019 Chevrolet, stopped at a stop sign. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Nodorft was cited for Operating without Proof of Insurance.
● 5:00 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, New Diggings Township for a motorist assist.
● 5:18 p.m. Deputies responded to STH 11, Benton Township for a check welfare.
● 5:30 p.m. Wendy L Appell, 51, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 11, Benton Township. No injuries were reported and Appell’s 2014 Lincoln received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 5:50 p.m. Caitlyn R Davis, 21, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 23, Darlington Township. Minor injuries were reported, but refused EMS. Davis’s 2015 Nissan was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Lafayette County EMS assisted on scene.
● 11:30 p.m. Dustin L Royce, 38, Argyle and Christopher C Royce, 18, Blanchardville were arrested by Platteville Police on Lafayette County warrants. Both Royce’s were transported to the Lafayette County Jail where they posted bond.
On Nov. 7:
● 4:51 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for an animal problem.
● 6:53 a.m. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS responded to CTH O, Seymour Township for a bobcat fire. Shullsburg Police Department assisted on scene.
● 10:20 a.m. Shane B French, 53, Browntown was arrested on a valid Lafayette County warrant. French was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released on a cash bond.
● 12:35 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH O, Town of Kendall to assist with a vehicle unlock.
● 5:15 p.m. Nicole E Anderson, 42, Argyle reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township.
