Linda Siegenthaler

Linda Siegenthaler, of Modesto CA died on July 30th 2016 at age 67, as a result of being struck by an automobile while crossing a street. She was born January 26th, 1949 in Monroe, WI the daughter of Erick and Marie (Graber) Siegenthaler. Linda graduated from Argyle High School in 1967. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in art education from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Linda was an art education specialist and special education art instructor in the Deforest School system for a number of years. She also was a coordinator for the University of Wisconsin College for the Kids Middle School summer program. During this time Linda also presented workshops at the National Art Association national convention and received a certificate for outstanding participation in youth art month activities from the Wisconsin Art Education Association.

Linda moved to the Modesto, CA area in 1988. She then taught in the Stanislaus Union School District in Modesto until retiring.

Besides teaching, Linda also published articles and lectured on various art forms. She enjoyed traveling in the United States, Europe and most recently in China.

Linda is survived by her brother Don (Marsha) Siegenthaler, a niece and nephew, Kristina and Brent (Kari) Siegenthaler all of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
