Lillian I. Steinmann age 92 of Monroe, Wisconsin died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born August 8, 1921 at Argyle, Wisconsin the daughter of Ernest and Elise (Dubach) Steinmann and attended Argyle and Monroe Schools.
Lillian lived in Madison, WI from 1943 to 2005 where she worked in food service at University of Wisconsin for 36 years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe and enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, reading, corresponding with friends & relatives, entertaining, traveling, needlework, listening to music, and was a Badger & Packer Fan.
Surviving are brothers, Ernest (Joyce) Steinmann of Argyle, WI, Robert Steinmann of Green Bay, WI, & Peter (Roxie) Steinmann of Monroe, WI; and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins in U.S.A., Switzerland, & Canada. She was predeceased by her Parents and brother, Hans; & sister-in-law, Roslynn Steinmann.
Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe with Rev. Tiff Bates officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the Church.
