Lester L. King Sr., 82 of Monroe, WI passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home. A celebration of life will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Monroe Church of the Nazarene. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post # 84 of Monroe following the celebration of life. Burial will be held at a later date. The Furlong Funeral Home, Shullsburg is assisting the family. He was born November 23, 1932 the son of Joseph and Cecil (Wright) King. Lester was united in marriage to Delories J. Boss on February 23, 1964 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2002. He worked for National By-Products for thirty-seven years until his retirement. Lester loved his cats and dogs. He is survived by his two sons, Lester (Kathy) King and Robert King, one daughter, Joy (Tina) King, seven grandchildren.
