Kylie L. Kundert age 15 of Monroe, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at U.W. Hospital as the result of an accident. Kylie was born May 25, 1998 in Madison, the daughter of Brian Kundert and Beth Hartwig. She was entering her Sophomore year at Monroe High School where she was active in soccer and basketball. Kylie loved her family and was a typical teenager who enjoyed hanging out with her friends. She was a big Harry Potter fan, loved family vacations, and was an avid photographer. She was looking forward to showing rabbits and some of her photos at the Green County Fair. Kylie was a member of the Young Americans 4-H Club and had attended Washington Reformation United Church of Christ.
She is survived by many that will miss her dearly including her father, Brian Kundert (Tami Pfeuti); a sister, Kirsten Kundert; a brother, Cody Meighan; Paternal grandparents, Keith (Linda) Kundert; Maternal grandparents, Gary (Charlotte) Hartwig, all of Monroe; an aunt, Becky Kundert of DePere, WI; an uncle, Mike Hartwig of Wausau; and Tami's children, Taylor and McKenna. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beth.
A visitation to celebrate Kylie's life will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
Through her generous gift of tissue donation, Kylie's legacy will continue to live on.
