NEW LISBON/JUDA - Karl H. Bollerud, age 75, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Tomah, WI. He was born on July 2, 1938 in Monroe, WI, the son of Karl and Edna (Jacobson) Bollerud. He married Judith A. Harmon on October 24, 1981.
Karl served in the U.S. Navy from January 14, 1960 to December 13, 1963. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Karl worked on the family farm until his employment at Industrial Combustion, retiring after 24 years. He was an avid hunter, gun collector, motorcyclist, loved westerns and old-time country music. He was a member of the Brodhead American Legion, Post 197.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 32 years, Judy; children, Russell Kershaw, Tina (Cameron) Haak, Robin (Trevor) Smith, Wanda Kershaw, and Art (Laura) Pautsch; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Edith Kitchen, Helen (Darrel) Silbaugh, Shirley (Bob) Fischer, and Henry (Mary) Bollerud.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the United Methodist Church, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
